Where every detail is a considered act
The Art Gallery opened in 2018 with one unconventional idea: that the rituals of great coffee and considered grooming deserve to share the same space. Not as a gimmick — as a genuine belief that both crafts demand the same patience, the same eye for detail, and the same respect for the person in front of you.
We started with two chairs, an espresso machine, and four works by a local artist named Darius Cole. The art sold within three weeks. We've been rotating exhibitions ever since — 24 shows, dozens of Liverpool artists, and hundreds of works sold without taking a penny of commission.
Today, TAG is three things at once: a precision barbershop, a specialty coffee bar, and a working art gallery. We think that's exactly the right number of things to be.
